Bedworth Leisure Centre offers, alongside Pingles Leisure Centre, a comprehensive swim scheme, from complete beginners to advanced swimmers.
The Swimming Development Scheme follows the ASA National Teaching Plan for the teaching of swimming. The plan has been developed by the ASA as templates for learn to swim schemes. The plan as it suggests is a national scheme with the main aim of providing a degree of consistency throughout the country with regards to swimming provision.
Bedworth Leisure Centre and Pingles Leisure Centre have been following the National Teaching Plan for over 3 years experiencing large numbers of children achieving their goals and aims whilst providing a skill for life.

The swimming development scheme at Bedworth Leisure Centre has successfully taught thousands of young people skills that will prove useful throughout their lives.
The swim scheme terms vary in lenght slightly in order to match the school's holiday programme, however there are always three terms per year, with the vast majority of lessons lasting 30 minutes in duration.
Payment needs to be made in full for the whole term at the time of registration, should you join the scheme part way through the term you will only pay pro-rata for the remaining lessons. Payment can be made by cash, card or cheque providing a garentee card is produced. We also offer a saver card which allows customers to purchase £1 stamps to save towards each term.
At the end of each term it is necessary to re-register on the Swimming Development Scheme. Once on the scheme customers are offered the same place for the following term, this place is garenteed providing that registration is complete and a full payment is made at the end of the reregistration period.
If you wish to change the day and time of the lesson at whilst re-registering, you are given a provisional place which will be subject to confirmation as long as spaces permit. Should the group you wish to move in to be full then you can revert to your original place.
